A Vision for Outreach at SGC
On Saturday, February 26, 2011, more than 200 people from the congregation gathered for “A Vision for Outreach for SGC.” During this time Pastor Jeff Daley shared his heart as the pastor of a local church in a local community. He touched on what local outreach could look like at SGC. He asked how is God using us today to reach out and love our neighbors? Jeff was followed by Hugh Brandt, part of the Global Cities Team with Campus Crusade, who led the group through some practical applications of Loving Our Colorado Neighbors. A Question and Answer period with both Pastor Jeff and Hugh followed. Al Hodges, SGC Director of Compassion Ministries, concluded the presentations with discussion of specific service opportunities available. The morning ended with lunch and small group discussions.
