Giving Options
Debit Card
We accept Visa and MasterCard debit cards, which means that the funds are immediately withdrawn from your checking account.
Credit Card
We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit cards. Using credit that is not paid off monthly is highly discouraged.
ACH (Automated Clearing House Electronic Transfer)
You have the option to have your offering withdrawn directly from your checking or savings account. You will need to provide your bank routing number and account number (printed on the bottom of your check).
PLEASE NOTE: SGC incurs fees for all transactions: handwritten checks, ACH transfers and debit/credit cards. ACH transfers are the most cost-effective means for SGC to process your donation.
Recurring Gifts and One-time Gifts
You have the option of:
- Making a one-time gift. An Online Profile is not required.
- Scheduling automatic recurring offerings (same amount automatically deducted for each designated period). An Online Profile is required.
- Making periodic gifts of varying amounts by logging in for each gift. An Online Profile is required. You must choose "donation frequency" and "one time" with each entry.
Your Online Profile
Creating an Online Profile
To create an Online Profile, simply open the Online Giving link and click on Create Profile. You will enter your email address, click Continue and then enter your personal data.
Once you have created a profile, you will not need to reenter personal data to make another donation and you can set up recurring gifts. You can also change recurring donations and stop scheduled donations. Creating a profile reduces the administrative work for SGC staff.
Your Online Profile is maintained on a secure web server at Vanco Services. The server meets all required online banking requirements.
Giving Statement
Through your Online Profile you will be able to view your online giving records.
PLEASE NOTE: Gifts made to SGC by checks mailed or delivered to the church or placed in the offering plate on Sundays will not appear in your online giving record. An Annual Contribution Statement will be made available to you in late January. It will list all contributions including online giving.
Security
When you click the Online Giving link or button you will be redirected to a secure web page at eservice.com hosted by Vanco Services, LLC, an industry leader that processes transactions for more than 17,000 institutions. Vanco was chosen by Southern Gables Evangelical Free Church to process your online transactions.
The financial information Vanco receives from you will only be used to process your transactions and will never be shared with any other party, except as required by law. Your information will be safeguarded in strict compliance with federal standards for nonpublic personal information.
Manual ACH Withdrawal Authorization
If you would like to make a donation to SGC but do not have access to the Internet, or do not wish to make your donation through online banking, you may complete an ACH Authorization Form and return it to the church office. We will set up automatic ACH withdrawals from your account as requested. Per banking requirements, if you wish to stop ACH withdrawals that we set up for you using the ACH Authorization Form, we must receive written notice.
Printed ACH Authorization Forms are available at the church office during regular business hours or you may download a PDF copy of the form here. In order to maintain the security of your banking information, please place the form in an envelope marked "Accounting." This form may be mailed to the church office or given to one of the office support staff during business hours. It is not advisable to simply drop it off at an unattended front desk or in one of the boxes in the hall.
