Parenting
Parenting has a definite beginning, but has no definite end. Wherever you may be along the parenting road our prayer is that the people, the ministries, and the resources of Southern Gables will encourage, equip, and challenge you to be active in the spiritual formation of your children. Even before birth up to adulthood, we as parents are called to be the primary spiritual influence in the lives of the children God has blessed us with.
Click the links on the right for resources specific to children and youth. We also have a number of Adult Communities and Life Groups that regularly discuss parenting issues. There is also a ministry to moms that meets bimonthly during the school year and has outings during the summer. Please give the church a call or stop any of our staff on Sunday if we can do anything else to help in the parenting journey.
Child Dedications
If your family is interested in dedicating your child in a Sunday morning service there are a number of dates listed when dedications will take place. After considering the best date for you, give Than Baylor a call (303-986-1527 Ex. 205) and set up a time to talk with him about baby dedication at Southern Gables.
