Online Giving Options
We accept Visa and MasterCard debit cards, which means that the funds are immediately withdrawn from your checking account.
We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit cards. Using credit that is not paid off monthly is highly discouraged.
ACH (Automated Clearing House Electronic Transfer)
You have the option to have your offering withdrawn directly from your checking or savings account. You will need to provide your bank routing number and account number (printed on the bottom of your check).
PLEASE NOTE: SGC incurs fees for all transactions: handwritten checks, ACH transfers and debit/credit cards. ACH transfers are the most cost-effective means for SGC to process your donation.
Recurring Gifts and One-time Gifts
You have the option of:
- Making a one-time gift. You may make a one-time gift without logging in to a mySGC profile. Click on the Give Now link on the right or the Give Now button and you will be taken to a giving page that allows one-time gifts. You will need to enter all of your contact information and your bank account or debit/credit card information.
- Scheduling automatic recurring offerings (same amount automatically deducted for each designated period). You must be logged in to your mySGC profile to schedule these gifts. Click on the Manage Giving with mySGC link on the right and login or click the Sign Up link. See the Your mySGC tab above for more information.
- Making periodic gifts of varying amounts. You must be logged in to mySGC each time you make a gift. You must choose “donation frequency” and “one time” with each entry.
- Donating to one or more accounts. You may donate to the General, Benevolence and Debt Reduction Funds and to the Kingdom Connection (KC) which supports our Global Staff Missionaries. You may donate to either the KC shared pool which is spread among the missionaries as needed or you may donate to one or more of the specific missionaries. Due to technical limitations of the giving form, you will need to create a one-time or recurring gift for each fund you choose to donate to. Splitting your donation among two or more funds requires multiple donations.
Your mySGC Online Profile
Managing Your Giving on mySGC
mySGC is a convenient way to manage all of your giving including both online gifts and any contributions or payments that you give directly to the church on Sunday or at events. When you are logged in to mySGC, you can make new one-time gifts or payments, schedule repeating gifts, stop repeating gifts, review all of your giving for the year and print out giving statements at any time. All online gifts/payments are automatically recorded immediately in mySGC. We also record payments made by check or identified cash. Please allow up to 10 days for processing of check or cash payments before they will appear in your mySGC records. To access your financial records, login to mySGC, click on your name at the upper right and then on Profile in the drop down links. When your profile opens, click on the financial tab. Your recent transactions and repeating gifts are displayed as well as a link to your giving statement.
Obtaining a mySGC Username and Password
If you have not previously obtained a mySGC username and password, you will need to request one. Click here and then click on the Sign Up link on the screen that appears. Follow the directions and you will be emailed a login activation link, either immediately if we already have your contact information in the mySGC database or within a few days if we need to process your request. Once you have obtained a username and password, you may login at any time by clicking the Manage Giving link on the right or the mySGC button at the right top of every website page.
When you login to mySGC, you may view and/or print out a statement of all of your giving and other payments, online and by check or cash, for various time periods. To access the financial records, click on your name at the upper right of the screen, then on Profile on the drop down links. Then click on the financial tab. The link to view or print your giving statement is on the right side of the screen.
When you click the Give Now button or link, or when you are logged in to mySGC and click the Give link or button, you will be redirected to a secure web page at sgc.ccbchurch.com hosted by Church Community Builder (CCB), the web services provider for mySGC. This web page is a portal for giving transactions that are handled for SGC by BluePay, a financial industry leader that processes transactions for hundreds of churches and thousands of institutions. BluePay was chosen by Southern Gables Evangelical Free Church to process your online transactions because it is fully integrated with mySGC and is a very efficient way for SGC staff to process donations.
The financial information BluePay receives from you will only be used to process your transactions and will never be shared with any other party, except as required by law. Your information will be safeguarded in strict compliance with federal standards for nonpublic personal information. Your debit/credit card and/or bank account information is safely stored on the BluePay servers that meet stringent industry standards. Neither SGC or CCB staff can access your stored financial information. Only you and selected SGC financial staff can view your contribution records.
