Letter to Prospective Applicants

Dear Sir,

After serving for the last thirty years, the senior pastor of Southern Gables Church
in Littleton, Colorado, has retired. The Board of Elders and the Pastoral
Search Committee, with input from the congregation, have determined the minimum
requirements and some preferred characteristics desirable in a new senior pastor.

Southern Gables Church is associated with the Evangelical Free Church of America and
claims their statement of faith as its own. More can be learned from our web site found
at www.sgc.org.

Our search committee is using "Minister Connection"
(https://ministerconnection.net/4DACTION/prelogin) as a tool to aid in our search.  If you already have an account with them please let us know.  If not and you wish to pursue this position, please submit your resume to us and we will give you the information needed to set up an account for this specific position.

Additionally, submission of a completed Senior Pastor Candidate Information Sheet will be required if you wish to continue the application process. The information sheet is being made available to you in electronic form so that you can download and complete it digitally and email it to psearch@southerngables.org.

We realize that the information sheet is lengthy and very personal, and will require a
significant amount of your time; therefore we anticipate only seriously interested
candidates will apply. Our desire is to find the man of God's choosing. We believe that
prayer and the process we have developed will lead us in that direction.
