Prayer Wall

Thanks for visiting the SGC Prayer wall. This is a great way for us to support one another, lifting up our cares and concerns, our praise and our prayer to the sovereign God. This prayer wall is for anyone to submit prayer requests and praises. We encourage you to frequently visit and spend time praying over the requests and praises. Be sure to push the “I prayed for this” button once you’ve prayed. Let’s see how God moves in and through our church! When you submit a request, please be sure to click on the “share this” button to see the options for how widespread your request is communicated.

You may add your prayer request to our prayer wall using the form below. Once your prayer request is received, we will share it according to your instructions. Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like!

Please pray with me for god (in the name of Jesus) to remove this virus! I or we miss our christian family in person! And to be able to be with our friends.

I do have one prayer request: I would love to be able to walk without walker again!

Please pray for Emily Losey in Niger. The airport has been closed for the last several weeks. The country does not have an independent food supply, and people expect food scarcity to be severe in the coming months, which often leads to unrest and violence. Please pray that Emily can get on the plane that the State Department is sending next week. She didn't get a seat on the last one, and they can't guarantee any more flights after this one. If she could stay and be helpful, she would do so. The school she teaches at closed a few weeks ago, but they have been sewing masks for the mission hospital in the bush. If she doesn't get a seat, please pray that she will be able to help in some way, and that the Lord would encourage her heart. Some long term workers with language and medical skills are choosing to stay and be a part of relief efforts if that opportunity arises. Please pray for them as well.

Also - we are praising God for safely bringing Umar and Sadaf Aziz home from their time with family in Pakistan! It was a long and difficult wait for them, but they were able to get on a similar emergency and flight arrived today. We are so grateful for all the Lord did to work out the timing of this flight and their ability to be on it!

Update on Ned: It sounds like Ned's body is continuing to take baby steps toward healing. He continues to just have a low-grade fever, around 100F, with Tylenol as the only treatment. Good news! Ned's oxygen levels remain stable, as well.

1. Praise God that Ned's temperature is not as high as it was, but pray that it would continue to return to normal on its own.

2. Pray that Ned would respond well to being on his back, that his oxygen levels would stay where they need to be. Please pray, as well, for wisdom for the medical personnel, as they consider weaning him off the ventilator, maybe even tomorrow.

3. They're still waiting for the arrival of the plasma for a plasma transfusion. So, please pray it would arrive today, if that's God's will.

Your prayers are making a difference, and we are so grateful for your investment. We are trusting that God will continue to work, and bring about healing, in His time.

Totally Blessed! Because of the community around us, our loyal customers and the many Southern Gables friends that have came out to support Granny Scott’s, we are doing great. Is has been so encouraging to talk to people and hear how they are getting through these times. The small business owners I talk with are that are open are doing ok. It is encouraging to receive an email that someone is praying for us.

Thank you SGC Family. What a blessing it will be to get together and just hug each other.

Our daughter’s friend reached out last night and asked us to pray for her aunt who is in the hospital with Covid-19 and is not doing well. Please pray God would intervene. We are praying most of all that God would give this woman many Christian nurses, doctors, etc. who would have great boldness, more than ever, to share the Gospel and to pray over her. We are not sure if she knows Jesus. Pray also that this would be the reason it draws this friend and her husband closer to Jesus.

We are so thankful that our son,Ryan, did not move to severe Covid 19! With a lot of prayer and a good amount of immune supplements he is steadily recovering at home! His wife,Lindsay, and her sister only came down with a mild Covid 19 and his brother in law nothing so far. I feel my relationship to Lindsay was strengthened as we were in touch a few times per day for updates, how to care for them, etc and I was able to model/speak peace and trust. She seemed thankful that they were all being prayed for. Continued prayer that God draws them all to Himself! Thanks so much for your prayers! Glory be to God!

Natalie has made it through her mascetomy surgery but the doctors did find cancer in her lymph nodes. She must go thru chemo and potentially radiation treatments over the coming weeks. The treatment is being delayed because of pre-treatment screening over the next week. Please pray for healing and that the treatment will work.

Rebekah’s second procedure procedure is over, the doc felt good about what they accomplished, 10% of the blood vessels into the avm remain but he thinks they may resolve on their own. Or they may have to do another procedure down the road, but for now this is it. No idea what recovery will look like. We are relieved that it's over--thank you for your faithfulness.

Rich, a friend and fellow believer, is hospitalized in Northglenn. He tested negative for Covid 19, but doctors ordered a re-test. His blood counts must improve before he can go home. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you.
