Thanks for visiting the SGC Prayer wall. This is a great way for us to support one another, lifting up our cares and concerns, our praise and our prayer to the sovereign God. This prayer wall is for anyone to submit prayer requests and praises. We encourage you to frequently visit and spend time praying over the requests and praises. Be sure to push the “I prayed for this” button once you’ve prayed. Let’s see how God moves in and through our church! When you submit a request, please be sure to click on the “share this” button to see the options for how widespread your request is communicated.
You may add your prayer request to our prayer wall using the form below. Once your prayer request is received, we will share it according to your instructions. Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like!

Please pray for those out of work during this period and without income. My hairdresser is a single mom who has just had to cancel all her appointments due to the order from the state of Colorado that salons close through 4/30. Pray also that the Body of Christ would help meet the multifaceted needs of those affected.

My friend sent this prayer request out this morning- I have an urgent prayer request as one of my Mom's dearest friends currently has a daughter (in her fifties) in the icu diagnosed with corona virus. They have placed her in an induced coma and did not expect her to survive the night. She was otherwise healthy, but is now very, very sick and is fighting for her life. She has another daughter also in her fifties who has cancer and was scheduled for surgery Monday. They now want to postpone the surgery. This is a very painful time for this family and prayers are so appreciated. So, you can call them by name before the Lord, the Mom is Rose. The daughters are Renee and Heidi.

I have been seeing lots of posts both funny and stressed out about parents homeschooling for the first time. I would love for us to lift up parents who are struggling with this new way of education. Also, that our families will take advantage of this time together to seek our Father together in new and creative ways.

Please pray for all of those who are facing anxiety and even feeling depressed during this time of social distancing. For some this is a very difficult time and the struggle between fear and faith are real. With that pray that those who are fighting this will not fall into feeling guilty for their anxiety, but look to the Holy Spirit and God's word for strength and comfort.

Please pray for those of us who are struggling with the fear of the unknown through all of this and that God can truly be our Prince of Peace. That we don't let that fear rule.
Also, please pray for an upcoming procedure. I'm in a significant amount of pain and surgery will help. Pray that it can still happen. Pray, especially, for all medical professionals, right now.

Please pray for Southern Gables as we adjust to services online and "doing church" remotely. Pray that we can love on and care for each other, in spite of the challenges of the Coronavirus. Pray for the protection for our church family!
