Thanks for visiting the SGC Prayer wall. This is a great way for us to support one another, lifting up our cares and concerns, our praise and our prayer to the sovereign God. This prayer wall is for anyone to submit prayer requests and praises. We encourage you to frequently visit and spend time praying over the requests and praises. Be sure to push the “I prayed for this” button once you’ve prayed. Let’s see how God moves in and through our church! When you submit a request, please be sure to click on the “share this” button to see the options for how widespread your request is communicated.

On Wednesday, August 5th I will meet with an oncologist/hematologist to further evaluate my heart condition and specific treatment needed. For those who don't know, Ann and I have settled in Lexington, Nebraska where we have several good (Christian) friends. As well, we meet via zoom with Day-by-Day AC and cherish this wonderful provision by our Lord. We hold the family at SGC up to the Lord in prayer.

The injections that I had done on July 22 to treat my spinal stenosis did not relieve the neck, shoulder and arm pain that I had hoped for. I am waiting now to hear from my doctor as to what other treatment can be done. My life and health are in God's hands and I am trusting His will to be done and that He would be glorified. Pray for my peace and patience as I wait.

Father God, I pray for my future child, children, and/or spouse. I don't know which direction You want to take me, but I pray for them, because I will be impacting them intimately, and they will be impacting me intimately as well. We will all be together for Christ. I really hope we can all go to church together as a family. I don't feel like I deserve any of them, or that I shouldn't even want to pray for them because it would be a bad decision. Thank You for removing the wall between us so that I can come to You in full honesty!

This is more of a Praise report!! Many times you don't hear the results of how God works through your prayers. We shared a couple of weeks ago about the struggles that Deb was having with Iron Deficiency Anemia. After several doctors visits and tests.... God has continued to answer prayers. Deb had an endoscopy last week, where biopsies were taken for Celiac Disease. We learned Monday evening, that the results were negative!! Plus nothing else of great concern was found. Praise the Lord! And, after taking iron for the past 2-1/2 weeks, Deb's blood numbers are beginning to rise. She still has a ways to go, but moving in the right direction.
There may still be more testing in the future, after our insurance changes Aug 1st, but we are so thankful to the Lord for His provision and care for Deb. And, we cannot express our gratitude for the prayers of our SGC brothers and sisters! One thing that Deb has, especially, been reminded of is that God is in our tomorrows.
Please continue to pray for continual healing in Deb's blood, and for the Lord's will to be done in her life! We are in His Grip!
