Prayer Wall

Thanks for visiting the SGC Prayer wall. This is a great way for us to support one another, lifting up our cares and concerns, our praise and our prayer to the sovereign God. This prayer wall is for anyone to submit prayer requests and praises. We encourage you to frequently visit and spend time praying over the requests and praises. Be sure to push the “I prayed for this” button once you’ve prayed. Let’s see how God moves in and through our church! When you submit a request, please be sure to click on the “share this” button to see the options for how widespread your request is communicated.

You may add your prayer request to our prayer wall using the form below. Once your prayer request is received, we will share it according to your instructions. Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like!

Please pray for my co-worker, Lisa, who is having breast cancer surgery tomorrow. Pray that the surgery will go well and that she would not get CV. Mostly pray that she will come to Jesus and have peace.

Also pray for our neighbor, Grant, who was furloughed from his job. He needs peace and Jesus as well.

Thank you!

Praise that a much needed surgery is still happening. Pray that God can truly be the Prince of Peace under crazy circumstances and that biopsies come back clear.

Increasingly--covid or no covid--I am praying Psalm 85:6: "Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?" I desire revival for myself, for my family, and for believers at SGC and around the world. May we be moved to repent where needed and to greater prayerful trust in our great God!

I find myself in need of a job. I left my old job for an opportunity I was certain would pan out. It did not work out for me, but I am now unemployed...again

Please pray for the residents at the nursing facility where I work. For their protection, that my co-workers and I would be an encouragement to them as visitors are not allowed in, and that I would be the aroma of Jesus to them and have opportunities to share the gospel.

Please pray for my family who has been instructed to self-quarantine after a family member was diagnosed with pneumonia and all the symptoms of COVID-19, but will not be tested unless the symptoms require hospitalization.

Once again, pray for those who are struggling with this social distancing - and who are struggling with depression and lack of motivation. To be able to keep up with school work through this time of emotional turmoil. And for the parents to help support and navigate through this trying time. Pray for wisdom on how much friend time she can have without being too much, but enough to help.

Pray that we would all put on “the garment of praise for a spirit of heaviness” Isa. 61:3. That we would choose to praise and worship our sovereign God and King even if it’s a sacrifice. “Magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together. I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears” Ps. 34:3-4. May His praise daily fill our homes for this is how we fight our battles.
