Thanks for visiting the SGC Prayer wall. This is a great way for us to support one another, lifting up our cares and concerns, our praise and our prayer to the sovereign God. This prayer wall is for anyone to submit prayer requests and praises. We encourage you to frequently visit and spend time praying over the requests and praises. Be sure to push the “I prayed for this” button once you’ve prayed. Let’s see how God moves in and through our church! When you submit a request, please be sure to click on the “share this” button to see the options for how widespread your request is communicated.
You may add your prayer request to our prayer wall using the form below. Once your prayer request is received, we will share it according to your instructions. Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like!
I need to be close to God. Please pray that God will draw me to Himself through Jesus Christ and give me victory over all sin and spiritual opposition. I also struggle a lot with being single. Please pray that Jesus Christ will help me meet the lady He wants me to marry, a Godly wife would be a true blessing to me. Thank you so much for your prayers and may God bless you all.

My mom is at Mapleton Care Center and I spoke with the social worker there Thursday. She said there are eight cases of coronavirus and one person has passed away. Also the virus is now in the south wing where my mother resides. I call my mom every day and she says she is sleeping a lot and she tells me she feels like giving up. Please pray for her. For her to feel God’s strength and peace in the circumstances of isolation. She doesn’t know about all the cases there at her home and I don’t feel it’s appropriate to tell her. She does feel like she’s getting great care from the caregivers but they’re very short staffed. The caregivers need our prayers as well.

Please pray for Emily Losey in Niger. The airport has been closed for the last several weeks. The country does not have an independent food supply, and people expect food scarcity to be severe in the coming months, which often leads to unrest and violence. Please pray that Emily can get on the plane that the State Department is sending next week. She didn't get a seat on the last one, and they can't guarantee any more flights after this one. If she could stay and be helpful, she would do so. The school she teaches at closed a few weeks ago, but they have been sewing masks for the mission hospital in the bush. If she doesn't get a seat, please pray that she will be able to help in some way, and that the Lord would encourage her heart. Some long term workers with language and medical skills are choosing to stay and be a part of relief efforts if that opportunity arises. Please pray for them as well.
Also - we are praising God for safely bringing Umar and Sadaf Aziz home from their time with family in Pakistan! It was a long and difficult wait for them, but they were able to get on a similar emergency and flight arrived today. We are so grateful for all the Lord did to work out the timing of this flight and their ability to be on it!

Update on Ned: It sounds like Ned's body is continuing to take baby steps toward healing. He continues to just have a low-grade fever, around 100F, with Tylenol as the only treatment. Good news! Ned's oxygen levels remain stable, as well.
1. Praise God that Ned's temperature is not as high as it was, but pray that it would continue to return to normal on its own.
2. Pray that Ned would respond well to being on his back, that his oxygen levels would stay where they need to be. Please pray, as well, for wisdom for the medical personnel, as they consider weaning him off the ventilator, maybe even tomorrow.
3. They're still waiting for the arrival of the plasma for a plasma transfusion. So, please pray it would arrive today, if that's God's will.
Your prayers are making a difference, and we are so grateful for your investment. We are trusting that God will continue to work, and bring about healing, in His time.
